Wow, I just heard from a buddy of mine that practices sports medicine in Chicago, that the selection will be Ariens. I've been thinking Trestman all along...and...I think I still think that, but he's fed me reliable information before. Hell, I don't know what to think anymore.

Yeah, if Arians is only having his second interview today, its impossible for anyone but Emery to know who the HC is going to be at this point.
But 50/50 shot it will be either arians or trestman. So...flip a coin.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Jacksonville received permission to interview Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell for HC. DC Gus Bradley scheduled to interview for job Weds.
Might be an indication that he doesn't feel too good about his chances here.

Imagine if we take Arians as HC and Trestman accepts that and was always planed as Arians OC. That this was only a bluff to get Arians without any problems...

if not, I don't care if Arians or Trestman. I just want to know who it is and who they will bring in for the coaching staff
IF this is true in regards to Arians it wouldn't shock me see Tresman come in as the OC BUT I wonder if Emery is picking the OC for him or if there is some backroom deal with Arians?

I am glad that you ask.
1. Arians I like Arians because he does have some NFL Head Coaching experience. While yes it was interm it still is some all while being able to develop Andrew Luck.
2. Bevell he has worked with Russell Wilson and Favre before and he has worked with a fairly decent Seattle team.
3. Tresman to be honest he'd be my number 2 if he wasn't the CFL. After 6 years of the Lovie disaster I am kind of hesitant to hire a Coach whose only experience Head Coaching is in the CFL.
Might be, but I am taking it to be just that - a team asked another team to be able to interview their OC for a HC position and so permission was summarily granted. Now whether or not he accepts will be more indicative of his perception of his standing. I don't think the team giving permission means anything.
