Around here we usually introduce ourselves before we start trash talking one of the best coaches we've had over the past nine years.
Of the seven typically identifiable and known types of idiots which one are you?
I know it's a tough question but in case you don't get aced out of here before you get 25 posts in and decide to stick around that's just our little way of getting to know you better.

Ok, now im curious. What are these 7 known types?
I'm trying//to let go//of maybe//but maybe's just so//very interesting//Oh, what a thing.

Read on my child and you shall learn.
And by the way Phil Emery did a real class thing allowing him to look elsewhere and in letting both Toub and O'Dea out of the last year of their contracts. That was thanks for the great job Toub did here and he won't forget that and neither will others who come to learn what Phil Emery is like. I like him as GM even more now than I did a year ago.
Toub on his exit: Bears tenure was a 'great run'

Dave Toub said he could not be sure the new coach of the Chicago Bears would want him to be a part of his staff, so he chose to reunite with a guy who has wanted him for years.
Toub, 50, called his nine seasons with the Bears a “great run” but said leaving to become the special teams coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs was a situation he could not pass up. Toub interviewed for the Bears’ head-coaching position but was not selected as one of three finalists and general manager Phil Emery granted him permission to pursue opportunities elsewhere. Toub, who had one year remaining on his contract, is leaving with special teams assistant Kevin O’Dea, who also had one year remaining on his deal.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid hired Toub in 2001 with the Philadelphia Eagles and has tried to hire him back multiple times since Toub joined the Bears as an original member of Lovie Smith’s staff in 2004.
“Andy got me in the league,” Toub told the Tribune Tuesday night. “I just feel really, really grateful. Over the years my contract has been up a few times and he has always been there trying to hire me and actually over my career he has really helped me make a lot more money every new contract. It’s always nice to have someone out there that wants you and he did it again. I’m happy to finally kind of re-pay him for getting me in and be able to re-join him.”
He is excited that O’Dea, who has had two stints with the Bears under Toub, was allowed to depart with him. Toub has praised his expertise with kickers and punters for years.
“It’s a package deal,” Toub said. “The band is staying together. Kevin is the best at what he does and I’ve said this a lot of times. I am fortunate to have him.”
Toub said he was “not sure” what it would have been like to work for new Bears coach Marc Trestman, a guy he competed against for the job. An announcement is expected Wednesday.
“I would have been fine with it,” Toub said. “I just didn’t want to take a chance that he might want to get a new guy. I had an opportunity to leave. Phil gave me an opportunity to go see what was out there. It’s a rare thing that someone would do that.
“The opportunity to start again was kind of exciting to me, to get on the front end of a new deal … any time you start new it’s kind of fun and exciting.”
But leaving the Bears was not an easy decision for him. His special teams unit ranked in the top 10 in the NFL eight times in nine seasons, finishing No. 1 in 2006 and 2007. The Bears were eighth in 2012. Five different players reached the Pro Bowl under Toub – returners Devin Hester and Johnny Knox, coverage aces Brendon Ayanbadejo and Corey Graham and kicker Robbie Gould.
“We definitely have something established here,” Toub said. “We set the bar really high. It would be hard to do much better than we’ve done to be honest. Sometimes you get a little stale after nine years at one place. Sometimes change is good. It kind of renews you a little bit, gets your juices flowing again.
“I had a lot of success at the Bears and I had a great stay at the Bears. The nine years has been fantastic. Sometimes you need to go to a different place and show people, show yourself that you can do it again at a different place. That’s really what we’re trying to do, Kevin and I.”
Reid has offered Toub the opportunity to work with the defensive line on occasion. He was a special teams assistant and defensive line assistant for the Eagles from 2001 to 2003 and diversifying his resume could help in a bid to become a head coach. Toub interviewed to become the head coach of the Miami Dolphins last year.
“Special teams coach, you’ve got your hands full. That is a full-time gig,” he said. “I might dabble in the D-line a little bit because Andy knows I’ve got that experience. He might ask me to do a little bit of on-the-field work with those guys which I am really excited about. I’m not going to go and change my title or anything like that. Just the fact that he is open to the idea of me helping with the defensive line, that kind of excites me as well.”
Toub described his interview with Emery for the head job as “intense.” He was appreciative to be considered.
“It was very thorough,” he said. “He is what everyone thinks he is. He is a very thorough information gatherer. I know I was in there for three hours with him. It was pretty much straight through. We took a five-minute break. It was him and I question-and-answer for three hours and it went by quick. By the time we were done, I said, ‘Wow.’ It was impressive. Very thorough. Covered everything. There wasn’t anything we didn’t cover.”
Asked to describe his plan for quarterback Jay Cutler and the offense, he chose to keep that private.
“My plan for Cutler?” Toub said. “I’ll just leave that one to Phil and (me).”
Toub, who said he got well wishes from a long list of current and former players including Gould, Pat Mannelly, Adam Podlesh and Graham, emphasized he was leaving the Bears on good terms and said he expects many candidates to be interested in replacing him.
“I am very appreciative,” he said. “The McCaskeys, Lovie Smith, I can’t thank them enough. It’s a good job. There will be a lot of guys that will want this job. There are good players here. The mentality is right and Phil does a good job of keeping it stocked. He understands it. It’s a good situation here.
“I heard from a lot of players. It makes you feel good. This was special.”

Brad Biggs @BradBiggs Former #Bears ST coach Dave Toub says he'll be sad if Devin Hester is done playing. "He has more left in the tank." http://trib.in/WJ1gT2
Just take him with you to KC.

That being said I still would like to see Hester stay but he needs to take a paycut.
I see two options for Hester,
Go to KC
Retirement
He might stay with us if we pay him shit loads but nobody would do so.
To much hate on Hester! Look at his role as ST player and not WR. That's what I do.
