Toub set the benchmark for Special Teams for quite a few seasons now. Kansas City is very fortunate.

The public story was that he felt awkward working for a guy that he had lost a job competition to. I suspect the whole story includes that but also might have taken into consideration that a new HC was hired here and there would be no openings any time soon for another opportunity. Although he went for a lateral move to KC who also just hired a new coach, so maybe he was being honest. I can't tell with these guys.
I wish he would have stayed, but I wish him well.

Don't mourn the guy. He's been itching to leave Chicago since he got hired, and now (with a year remaining on his contract), he has. The ONLY way this would be excusable would be if it was a promotion, but it wasnt. Good Riddance Dave Toub.

Nah, that's not his style. It's much easier to let the ESPN, the Chicago press and a whole bunch of stupid fans who buy into their shit do it for him. 
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Around here we usually introduce ourselves before we start trash talking one of the best coaches we've had over the past nine years. Of the seven typically identifiable and known types of idiots which one are you? 
I know it's a tough question but in case you don't get aced out of here before you get 25 posts in and decide to stick around that's just our little way of getting to know you better.
