I'm super excited for this guy
And welcome all of you cfl guys, good to have ya and speak up we don't bite...well most don't at least
But the more I hear the longer it feels till August
A coach who run a functional offense
Throw a red flag
Uses more than one tone
Seems excited about football
And best...I didn't hear "Rex is our quarterback" ONCE

And who knows, if he brings his CFL good luck with him, your opponent in the SB might have too many players on the field on the would-be final play of the game.

Just a classic finish in a great city like Calgary. Glad I was there. Thank you Menace for introducing me to this site. If anyone wants to check out what cfl forums look like try cflhorsemen.com among others.

Not living in an NFL city I've been looking for a reason to care about a specific NFL team but now I finally do so I think I'll be sticking around here for a while. I'm kinda curious about Forte is he the type of running back that makes people miss or is he more the type to carry a defensive lineman on his back for a few extra yards

He is not the kind og back to carry and drag people on his back. However, he is fast, can make cuts and is an all around good back. He can block, he can catch and is very good at finding holes and getting yardage.

He will absolutely not carry anybody anywhere lol. He is very close to being a scat back in my opinion. Arm tackles take him down with realitaive ease and he is a useless inside runner ESP in short yardage. I think he would be very comparible to the RBs your accustom to in the cfl. On a positive side he is a good pass catcher and is a good runner in the open field and uses blocks very well in space.

In the CFL Ive seen "big" power runners (big power runners in the CFL are around Forte's size) and scatbacks I ask because I know that in general players in the NFL are bigger than in the CFL so I wasnt sure which type of running back he is. Based on what you guys are telling me though he sounds like the NFL sized version of the alouettes starting RB so Im expecting a very good season from him then

Oh go on then. If you must you must but consider the source. Both the writer, who's being quoted and what their motive might be then and now. I'm not opposed to contrary opinions but that was a hack job based on old shit.
