The O is going to be dynamic for real this time around. It's the D I'm getting worried about.

Sounds like Trestman thinks Cutty's problems last year were in protection and preperation(coaches), and he's working on fixing that now.

The passion of a few, to rule the many, that's Washington D.C.. Where else was that said before, about whom?

I really like the fact now that the buck will stop with Trestman since he is the one calling the plays.

Cutler was not playing well when he had time either. I think he is going to address the whole spectrum - Cutler himself, the OL, the game plan and hopefully the dropsies

I agree, but the offensive line was not competent enough to spread out the defense. Did you notice how Green Bay versus the 49ers had 5 sometimes 6 people running routes? I don't think we had that many competent receivers/tight ends, but when you limit your options because of a bad line (and still can't pass protect) your offense is going to struggle. Cutler does need to get better as does the personnel around him.

Trestman looks like Fire Marshall Bill.

oh, no doubt. We had lots of stuff broke. He's got his work cut out for him. I was hoping that at least we would continue to have our rock - the D that he wasn't going to have to overhaul. ANd it may still be that way. If we keep the same players and scheme, it may work out to a coaches only change, but that's too good to be true. AT this point they may as well talk about all the options and doing whatever is best for the team long term.
Our buddy Marinelli might not have only screwed the pooch for his coaching buds, but for some of the players too.
