I think this is pretty much what we've been expecting ever since Jimmy Johnson shouted out about it. It's not like him to say something unless he was 99.9% sure of himself.
McCoy either opted out or was sliding down the list and he's taking over in San Diego, Dennison wasn't a builder of QBs, Bevell was a little under experienced yet for a HC just yet and Trestman and Arians were the only two with HC experience, a track record as a HC, and have a great rep for developing top flight QBs so in either of those last two Phil was getting all of what he wanted. Trestman just came out as the stronger of the two.
