The first thing I'd like to hear from him are his plans relative to the defensive staff. I'm thinking that Emery must have been comfortable enough during their interview to feel that he would try to keep most if not all of those guys around and I'm hoping that's what he does. Continuity there is gonna be critical while the offense learns another new system.

He's WCO type of guy so this is gonna be a bit of change for Cutler again. He's never played in a system like that. Of course this makes me all that more pissed that Lovie cut Sanz who would have been more effective in that kind of scheme but there are other guys out there like him so it's not as if he's irreplaceable.

My guess is that in rapid fire succession Trestman will hire his staff and he and Emery will start looking at player personnel moves on both sides of the ball. We need to start moving on our own FAs soon so we know what else we need to be looking for. The OLine will probably get the most attention to begin with.

Trestman has coached some high powered passing offenses so I'm expecting to see that continue. Probably something much closer to what the Packers are running now with Forte more involved as a receiver and throwing to TEs so I think we can expect some changes in personnel there.

They say he tends to be more on the quite and cerebral side so if that's the case we probably will see a guy far more like Lovie than Ditka. I would just like to see a guy more like Emery. Somebody who tells you in no uncertain terms and in plain English what he intends to do and then just goes out and gets it done.

I want a HC who operates like our GM.

He's a respected QB coach, so i would expect that we would see improvement from Jay. Jay worked out with him before the draft, so he respects him as well.

We have no clue what the personnel will be, we will just have to wait.
    I'm trying//to let go//of maybe//but maybe's just so//very interesting//Oh, what a thing.
