Amstrong knows Eric Weems from his days in ATL, maybe he and DeCamillis would be worth interviewing again.

@AdamSchefter: Former Saints interim head coach Aaron Kromer has accepted the Offensive coordinator and offensive line coaching job with the Chicago Bears.

I'll pick Aaron Kromer as the new OC. Strange hire. No OC expereience. He was the Saint's O-line coach, and served as intereim head coach during the HC's 6-game suspension.

That's a bit out of left field... Kromer has no offensive experience outside of coaching the grunts on the line. Trestman and Kromer worked together in 2002-03 in Oakland.

If Trestman will be the primary OC, this is not unheard of to get a guy like Kromer to groom and serve as an assistant of sorts. Kind of like when Kubiak was the OC in Denver. He didn't actually call plays. If Kromer gets it, Trestman would work closely with him and I think Trestman would be the main guy.

My guess is he's the OCINO=Offensive Coordinator in Name Only. Especially since he'll be working the O-Line as well.

Didn't Babich serve as the "Defensive Coordinator" a few years ago? We all knew that Lovie was the real DC.

Kromer will get a chance to be groomed in the Trestman system. He will likely get an OC or HC job in a few years if things go well.
