    No doubt. I began to get that impression too and even more so when he interviewed Singletary because there was no way he would be hired as a HC. DC maybe or LB coach more likely but there was no way he fit the HC profile Emery had established.

    As it turns out it's been a good thing to have has so many interviews. I'm sure he collected a lot of very useful information during them and it got us Toubs replacement. It was tough to lose him but DeCamillis is a good hire. You know Babich is gonna be gone so maybe Singletary is being considered to fill that void if Frazier allows it.
    I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

    I wouldn't be stunned to see Singletary get considered for the DC job since it is likely that Rod will be leaving.
