Rod is gone

yeah i really hope that this wont happen, That being said I dont think it will be a world ender if it does. Rod is a great DC but we have players in place that will probably bring sucess for anyone who comes....for now

Yeah, losing Marinelli would deal a serious blow to the defense, but I don't think it wo would be crippling. Nothing like, for example, on the scale the offense went through. I really liked Rod and Toub. And I wanted them both to stay. But maybe it's better this way. We still have excellent talent, and Trestman is a smart guy, so he will build on the success and strengths that we already have.

this would be a BIG letdown and negative hit to the team :(
