Yeah, losing Marinelli would deal a serious blow to the defense, but I don't think it wo would be crippling. Nothing like, for example, on the scale the offense went through. There's just too much talent there and the best part is that, except for the LB Corps, lots of that talent isn't fully developed yet.

I really liked Rod and Toub. And I wanted them both to stay. But maybe it's better this way. We still have excellent talent, and Trestman is a smart guy, so he will build on the success and strengths that we already have.
