Speaking of which and word on whether Bates is staying or not?
Bates is a goner, Soul. See the "Tice is fired" thread.

He's helped our aging QB break cfl records for all-time TDs, completions and set 'pro' football all time yards passing record and last year he broke Doug Flutie's records of seven consecutive 300 yard games and six 5,000 yard passing seasons and this is at the age of 40.

His daughters are also smokin' hot.
Well that would explain completely why he was Emery's guy. Talk about two peas in a pod. Nobody in the Bears organization works harder to get it right than Emery does.

This is good to hear because I think most of us were getting pretty fed up with Lovie's laissez faire attitude about losing. It's not like he didn't care at all but IMHO he didn't care enough and his rather generous attitude and forgiveness for other members of his coaching staff was working against him and eventually got him fired.

We need a guy who's a little more of a perfectionist around that offense and to work with Cutler. The execution on that side of the ball has been pathetic.

Bischoff was a RB coach in Montreal but he is now the TE coach here. Not sure if he has ever coached TE's. Wonder why he didn't tag him as the RB coach?

Michael Sinclair also from the CFL is going to be an assistant DL coach, which is what he coached up north.

Why are you worried no one has coached the TE on the Bears in years. There is almost, key word almost no way someone could teach our TE any worst the they have been. If nothing else he has seen what a TE is suppose to do. Hopefully at the least he know that TE can do more then try to block for the O line.
