Bates too. Everyone except Hoke per McClure.

Happy day!!! Debord gone too. Maybe Hoke will get a crack at DC.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

He said Hoke was not in the building at the time. It may just be a matter of tracking him down to let him know he's either fired or he can stay. Or interview him for DC.

Tice gone? Does this mean we'll never see "The Hester Package" unleashed? Who will watch over little J'Marcus now? Did he take his bag of pixie dust with him (we can only hope)?
Ladies and gentlemen, The Guru, has left the building....

"Lovie, I'm telling 'ya the J'Marcus kid is a star."

This is now my mental image of Mike Tice.

Since his pixie dust wasn't working, I'd imagine there's a pretty big load of it in the warehouse. A Little more house cleaning that needs to be done yet.
Oh, and a request... PLEASE, no more photos of those guys. I like this new sense of urgency and those guys put me to sleep. Or get my dander up.

Per McClure:
"Bears confirm Tice, Babich, Bates, DeBord, Drake, Holt, Spencer let go."
"DB coach Hoke, DL coach Phair, safeties coach Byrd not on that list."
-
WoW! I'm sure some of those D coaches were let go because Marinelli didn't stay. If he had stayed, I'm sure he could have kept a few if he wanted. As it is, they probably decided to do a clean sweep since it looks like they are going to do a full coaching rebuild whether they wanted to or not.
It's a shame. If Trestman can get these guys respectable with a brand new coaching staff, it will be an accomplishment.

The coaches they kept (as of now) are the pick of the litter. Other than maybe Babich, who was Lovie's boy and a goner anyway, is there anyone you will miss? I doubt it.

No, other than Marinelli and maybe the DL coach, no one. But still, I think Marinelli could have kept a few of these guys their jobs if he hadn't decided he didn't want to coach his guys without Lovie any more. Wasn't as tight with the players as he said, was he?

The DL coach (Phair) is still on board as of now. I was sorry to see Rod go too but if he didn't want to be here, then he needed to go too. From all reports, it was Marinelli's choice, not Trestman firing him. The rest sucked and are no loss at all.
