Does anyone know if the Bears are still interested in Trestman?

My source has gone silent. I just feel so lost and adrift without a constant reminder of the Bears' interest level. I hope it is still high.

I am worried sick that there's been a bot murder. I worry that poor Meathead is in a shallow grave somewhere near Ski's place

    Go Bears!

The internal talk is that the team is strongly considering promoting OC Ed Hughes to head coach. That's what I heard, anyway. Make sure you tell people.

    I'm BACK, Jack... or something..

Ed Hughes, although he passed away in 2000, would none the less have been an upgrade over Martz and Tice the last few years. And he has had prior Head Coach experience (Houston Oilers). So he's an OC who won a Super Bowl, has head coaching experience, and would be more life-like than Lovie Smith on the sidelines. Bring him on!

(Just don't let meathead know we scooped him on this story)

As soon as I read about a corpse and a head coaching search, I knew the Lovie reference was just a matter of time..haha.

    I'm BACK, Jack... or something..
