Well Long and Bushrod are missing from the OT list so it's incomplete and I think Bushrod may be the guy we go after hardest. Kromer coached him in NO and after signing Brees to a new deal they may be stretched cap wise but I don't really know that for sure. There are also more RT on that list than LT.
The problem with drafting a LT is that we're getting a guy who in all likelihood won't start in 2013 which means another year of Webb and unless Kromer thinks he can get him more focused on football than he is on the Dollar Menu at Mickey D's we need another LT playing there now. I think somewhere on that list we need to find our next LT.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

It's not incomplete, neither graded out in their top 10 FA OTs. As I've said before, the metrics behind Bushrod aren't at all encouraging and Long is coming off a poor showing BEFORE injury. I don't give Bushrod anywhere close to the $7M+ per that I've seen tossed around in speculation.

According to some things I've heard not a lot of teams in cap heaven this year, I think only Cleveland has a lot of money in FA to burn, so a lot of thought of high dollar FA's isn't likely, at least that's what I'm hoping for. I definately don't want have another Pace debacle w/getting Long or Bushrod and paying way to much money.

Well then what? Go after Smith or Beatty and is one year enough to base anything on? According to this then Albert grades out better than both Bushrod and Long? Long may be hurting but I just don't see him signing somewhere for less than half what he was making unless he does it as a one year deal. I can't see him agreeing to a long term contract, his last probably, for short money.
Bushrod is made $4.9 per year on his last two year deal and for that kind of money my guess is he'll stay put if NO will pony that much up again. Albert is gonna be looking for something in that $7 mil plus range too so who you gonna go after sox? Personally I think Long is out of the question unless it is a cheap ass one year deal. To me that could be another Orlando Pace fiasco if he's still hurting.
Chances of getting a starting LT with the #20 pick are non-existent so who would you try to sign. Bushrod or Albert have got to at least be a modest upgrade on what we have. Bushrod manages to do pretty well in one of the best offense in the NFL so he must be blocking someone at least some of the time.
Edit: I guess I should add that Clady is the pick of the litter and if Angelo had been smarter 5 years ago we'd have had him but I just don't see the Broncos ever letting him go. They'll franchise him is they can't sign him.

Never been a fan of Bushrod. I think his image is helped by amazing guards + All-Pro QB

I'm not sure why everyone gets on JA about Clady in the 2008 draft, Denver picked him (@ #12) before we had a chance (@ #14). I suppose we could have traded up, but short of that, the rub on JA w/ that first round pick was that we got an injured C.Will instead of:
#15-Brandon Albert
#17-Gosder Cherilus
#19-Jeff Otah
#21-Sam Baker
#26-Duane Brown**
If anything, I'd be upset that we didn't trade back 8-10 spots and taken Duane Brown and another lineman w/ the extra pick.

That's what I was referring to JD. The fact that as was typical in those days he wouldn't trade up. Long and Clady were hands down the best LT prospects and the Broncos were looking for one too. We lost out and in panic mode made a major reach talking CWill bad back and all. Even Albert was a better pick.
I suppose I should be happy that it was the Broncos who got Clady but I do not love them as I do my Bears.
