Veteran NFL safety Chris Harris announced his retirement on Twitter on Saturday with the following tweet:
Harris is a capable journeyman who played for four teams over eight NFL seasons, and finished with 439 tackles and 16 interceptions. He played in five games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.Quote:

Harris started seven games for the 2006 Chicago Bears team that went to the Super Bowl. In 2007, he had 96 tackles and eight forced fumbles for the Carolina Panthers.
