OK Zif, we traded down and have now #26 and an additional early 3rd. What to do with that pick and all the intersting NEED players gone? Trade down again until Warford isn't a reach? for an additional 4th/5th?

I think it would be easy to say go and the next best DE or CB

    Jonathan Cooper, G/C, North Carolina
Can anyone explain why Jeff Saturday was voted to the Pro Bowl? He didn't even start at the end of the season. The Packers had major problems at center after letting Scott Wells walk away, so they'll have to address that area this spring. Ted Thompson will like Jonathan Cooper's versatility, as the North Carolina product can play all three interior positions.

    or

    Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
There's a ton of uncertainty at inside linebacker for Houston. Brian Cushing is coming off a torn ACL, Bradie James is an impending free agent who isn't very good, while neither Tim Dobbins nor Darryl Sharpton is worthy of starting.

Both would be options, ecspecially if we trade back, I doubt we trade back to 26 since that's GB, but 23-25, or 27, 28 we could find either one of these guys.

in this case, both of them are gone. In this case, our needs would only be filled with BIG TIME REACHES. All 3 MLBs would be gone as the 1st round OL players.

Cooper, Fisher, Johnson, Warmack, Joeckel or even Jones + Te'o, Minter or Ogletree. I'd be happy with all of them.

we have to hope that there will be reaches on QBs, WRs, HBs or CBs with the normal take Pass Rush early picks. Deep OG draft means that many think they will get quality out of later round picks and don't take Cooper or even Warmack because of this. I'd love them both on our roster

It is possible that the problems Teo has had could pay dividends for us. I am not proposing that WE select him, but...

The Bengals also need help at LB, and they own two picks in the second round (37 and 53). If Teo drops to 20, would it be worth it for us, given the multiple needs in areas with good depth in this draft, to trade out of the first all together and get both their 2nd round picks? Our pick at #20 is valued at 850 on the Value chart, and their two seconds would equate to 890, which is close, but certainly gives us an edge. They may also want us to throw in our 5th, but I would play hardball and go ahead and use our own pick in the first if they don't like it. The end result would leave us with 3 second round picks. The first of the three would be a little worse than our 1st round pick, but we get a pick back that is higher up to make up for the lost 3rd round pick. We then end up with 3 picks in the top 53 as opposed to just two. What would you do?

Just for the record, in a normal year, I would not do this, but given the depth of O-Line talent in this draft and our lack of a valuable 3rd rounder, I think I would pull the trigger.
The Greatest form of revenge is MASSIVE success.

If the draft actually went like this then we'd be screwed...lol

Do we draft a QB in this case? I know none of them are really impressive, but now we actually have a QB-friendly and offense-friendly coach...he could develop into something.

But I would say the best option would be to trade down for more picks.
