I just have no idea how AZ would have hired him.

Drake had the ability to develop WR's for OTHER teams as Lovie and Angelo CUT THEM.
Give me a fuckin list of WR's we drafted under the Lovie/Angelo regime.
Where did they end up at ? It's embarresing.
MEANWHILE ... DAY ONE we have a WR that goes to the PRO BOWL since Emery got here.
What else do you need to know ?

not that we needed another proof, but Drake is just bad.

His returns were plain and simple useless and bad in the last 1 1/2 years

Translation? Cutler is a blunt, narcissistic sonofabitch. Hester is a wimpy, emotional crybaby.
Let him get his recognition back as being a leader on Special Teams. He's still got it, if he's confident.
And Drake... STFU

Well first of all it's AZ and they also just fired a coach who got them a SB and second how much actual coaching does Larry Fitzgerald really need? Drake is "cheerleader" and a bullshit artist so he's probably a good fit. He can keep up morale on a losing team. He's proven that much already but little more.

Exactly and that fits with what Drake said about Hester's need to have success in what he's doing in order to fire him up. So why put him in a position where he's always been destined to fail. I hope Trestman can see this far better than Lovie ever could.
We have the greatest return specialist in the history of football playing for us and we kept detracting from that by trying to remake him into something he's not. It's OK to design a dozen or so offensive plays for him that might be used to exploit mismatches but these attempts to make him and every down guy need to stop.

It was a coaching effort at failure, and it worked year after year.
You had the GM ... HC ... his flunkys ... the same results spit out.
7-9 ... 9-7 ... 13-3 ... 10 -6 ... it never really mattered ,
you just had this gut feeling that things wernt going to work out at the end of each season.
There always seemed to be somthing missing ... like HEART ... EMOTION ... just ... PROFESSINALS cutting a paycheck.
Like what Jim Harbough put into Frisco in two years was lacking.
Drake was a part of it because he WAS a flunky,he should have stood up and said if you draft these guys ...
at least give me the time to develop them. It never happened. Toub got his way, thats for dammed sure.

Makes you think if we hired Arians he would have kept drake .......the shit storm on this board with that scenario lmfao

Drake was a buffoon and a guy who was always feathering his own nest which is why he used to crow about the talents of his guys yet what we saw was just the opposite.
It took an actual All Pro WR to come in here and show everyone just how lousy a job he'd done. Not one of his trainees could even come close to doing what Marshall did. I'm just glad he can't under-develop Jeffery like he did with so many others.
His comments about Hester border on the ridiculous. None of us are pro coaches and even we can see that Hester hasn't got what it takes to be an every down WR and he never has. Drake was just one more guy in that Texas Mob of Lovie's who could never deliver what his mouth always told us he could.
If the Bears used to be offensive football hell then he's really in football hell now. Remember Drake was the guy who was RWill's college coach and look at what a stellar player he turned out to be. If Larry Fitzgerald is smart he'll avoid Drake like the plague.

This article, ultimately, is the DNA proof that Hester is Italian. Fra-Gee-Lay.
