    Playing time stats for the Bears in 2012

    I thought this might be interesting, not just for the offensive line (we've beat that horse to death now), but for all of the players/positions.

    Continuity is one of the factors that breeds success on the offensive line and it was one of the issues the Chicago Bears faced in 2012.

    Only three offensive linemen played more than 85 percent of the snaps during the course of the season, according to NFL statistics provided to the Tribune, with center Roberto Garza and left tackle J’Marcus Webb both participating in all 1,046 offensive plays.
    Gabe Carimi, who played primarily right tackle and a little bit at right guard, was involved in 87.5 percent of the snaps. A torn ACL suffered by right guard Lance Louis limited him to 11 games and 66.2 percent of the action.
