The whole deer antler thing seemed almost comical to me on a couple of levels. At worst it just sounds like a guy is trying a goofy thing to heal a torn muscle faster. Not to get a competitive edge. It's his last few games in his career. I just don't see this as a big deal, even if he did it.
On another level, I wondered about the craziness of using these goofy remedies. What's next, eating raccoon poop? Enema of crushed spiders? Spraying you feet with fermented water from soaking your old stinking workout socks in water? It sounds like witch doctor stuff to me
And it a banned sustance?!
When I heard about it I thought it was a joke.
From what I heard on 670AM, the spray is gotten from the velvet that promotes the bone growth that builds antlers, which when combined with a certain HGH insulin, promotes bone healing and has anabolic like effects..
It's just called deer antler spray.
I believe its banned substance because the spray contains "IGF-1" which is on the banned substance list.
LMAO!! :laughing-019:
I care not about the illegal substance but that was a funny bit. It's nice to see a guy on the Pro Tour who isn't an anal stuffed shirt like so many of them are. Bubba's just one of those tee it up and let it fly kind of guys and he's refreshing.
