*sigh* you guys are looking at this the wrong way. You have to realize how unprecedented firing Lovie Smith was. Usually when coaches are fired, its because the team does poorly year in, and year out and they usually have a lack of talent across the board and they need YEARS to rebuild. You never see a team with a franchise QB and RB, Probowl WR, HOF MLB and DE, Probowl Corners, OLB and KR lose their coach. THis team HAS the talent. In fact, i would say that the only two people who might struggle with new coaches would be AJ and Mclellin since they are rookies.
Yes, we still need to adress the OL before our offense takes off, but i have every confidence in Emery. With a solid OL, Trestman is going to turn our offense into one of the best in the league. Our defense is another story, we HAVE talent, but they are getting older, and i really really really wished that Marinelli had stayed on. So yeah, i could see our defense regress a little bit, but our offense will more then make up for that.
