Is the NFL an adults only game now?
I know a lot of you guys will disagree with me on this, and thats fine, but the only thing that was missing from the half time show was a stripper pole. I like a good lap dance as much as the next guy, but is this really the forum? Commercials for Go Daddy, products for erectile disfunction, it goes on and on. It's really difficult to watch this programming with your kids.
Just had to share my feelings.

I agree with you. Half these commercials are stupid anyway (some are funny though). I just want to watch football.

It's ridiculous, this game called NFL Football. It's just not a venue for children anymore. A lot of teams have stooped to having scantily clad ladies prancing around on the sidelines during the game and I hear some stadiums are even selling alcohol!!

i can guarantee that kids are into Beyonce way more then adults. Well teens anyway.
As far as the commercials go, they have to spend millions to get their spots on air during the SB, so they have to appeal to their target audience, which is mostly men in the 20-40 range. "Kid-friendly" doesnt really sell, sex does though.
What really is mind boggling is how often you see car commercials right after beer commercials. Its as if they are subliminally telling you to drink and drive.
I'm trying//to let go//of maybe//but maybe's just so//very interesting//Oh, what a thing.

I'd still like to see the Honey Bears back. The stupid commercials though, I could do without.

I thought this was gonna be a "role model" discussion. It's no more less kid friendly than when I started watching in 1993(maybe earlier). I, for the life of me, can't remember a commercial that ever played during the games, but I remember so many great football moments, that I would candidly say from my perspective, anyway, that there is no real problem here, unless one is made of it. Beer commercials have always played during games, and if they woulda had viagra on the market earlier, that would've been there too.

Shush! She doesn't come around very often and you're only playing with fire by invoking her presence....

I thought the ads would be more entertaining than they were. Usually there's a few good family oriented ones like the kid pretending to use the force last year and such. I just think the ad agencies are in a down cycle.

Sex is the power of success this days....I agree with you 4DaBERS... at the end of the day it has to be about Football not Sexy girls....

That kinda funny I thought those commercials with sex appeal were banned from the SB. You know given how much sensetive you are around such things, i.e Janet Jacksons nipple. Who really sues a tv station for showing free nipples at halftime show? I bet it's does over protection parrents but what they just forgot is that this is 2013 and we got unlimted internet..Even back then when it happened it only took you few secs to see such things.. I hoped Beyonce would do something like that this year then the halftime show would have been worth watching..
