    Possible Missing Piece To Trestman's First Coaching Staff?

    I was taking a look at our 2013 coaching staff to date on Da Bears' website and noticed Trestman has not yet picked or named a current staff member as a WR coach.

    While I know many of you will say not having a WR coach is an upgrade over Darryl Drake... but it would seem to be an important piece to his staff with the often pass happy offensive approach Trestman has (shown in the past at least). I have read that Trestman pushes his WR as hard (if not harder) than his QB with some intense game planning during the week so to me it makes sense to have a specialty coach (with some NFL experience) there to help groom them on a daily basis.

    Does Trestman have faith in Carson Walch, who was his WR coach with Montreal for only a season, to step into that role as well as being an Co-Offensive Quality Control coach with Brendan Nugent? Both of them though seem to have more experience with working with special teams.

    Is Todd Haley still on a team? I know he wouldnt, but that would be awesome.

    Todd Haley is a complete asshole though. Talented as he may be I don't know if I see his personality meshing with Trestmans.
    I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

    I gotta admit that it is a little strange that he hasn't hired a receivers coach though after moving so quickly to fill the other spots. You have to wonder who he has in mind and if they're trying to get a deal done on the QT. The seasons over now so everyone is fair game if teams will allow them to talk with the Bears.

    A little information today via Brad Briggs On Twitter today. At least hiring a WR Coach is still on the radar.

    Trestman: "We have one more coach to hire and we're going through the process."

    Trestman: "I think we are close to a resolution" in terms of hiring a wide receivers coach.
