I know about the problems but I think with Marshalls bonus and guaranteed, it was insurance when he would have some mental problems and would act like a fool. Now we know what we have and saving the Cap Space is worth it.

Well be that as it may right now Marshall's name is not one who comes up at the top of the list as far as restructuring his contract and adding an extension although I think later this year it will be. It's fine if they do but he doesn't seem to be a guy whose name comes up as far as an extension goes.
He has two years to go so he's not a priority compared to others with bigger cap numbers or who are in the last year of their deals. Pep and "Peanut" are two guys with over $24 mil of cap space between them. Between them we could recover more than Marshall's deal costs us this year by getting them to restructure and/or extend in a cap friendly way.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
