Speaking of "scratching off the draft board", Teo ran 2 40s today in the low 4.8s per NFL radio. So much for him being a good MLB fit for the Bears. Those aren't 1st round caliber times and his lack of top notch range/speed was already being questioned beforehand.
Yeah, but he's from Notre Dame, so some bonehead team will still blow a 1st round pick on him. I've been a ND fan all my life (and my dad before me), but it seems like there's a pattern with their players in the NFL. They get overhyped in the press, get drafted too high, and end up being disappointments in the NFL. Yeah, there are exceptions to this. Some players have been decent. Yeah, no offense to ND fans (I'm neither a lover nor a hater there) but their football program and players have been over-rated and over-hyped for a long time. As long as that "bonehead team" isn't the Bears I don't care. I wish Teo luck too but he's not worth a 1st or even a 2nd to me at this point. We need to PASS.
If he was sitting there in the 3rd round and we some how had a pick that is the only time I'd even consider him.
