Here's a trade that would match the point system for us..
Our 1st (850)
second (400)
for the 49ers:
1st (600)
2nd (292)
3 a (210)
3b (120)
1250 for our picks vs 1222 for theirs. They have 14 draft picks this year, and too many good players to allow such a turnover in roster space, so they do need to get rid of their picks. I don't care whether or not they would do this, but how would you guys feel about trading back in the 1st and second to get 2 extra 3rd round picks?
(btw, I saw someone posting this on another website, so the idea isn't my own, although they only wanted to trade back for an extra 3rd with the 49ers)

The unknown of what happens during FA would determine whether or not I would plug the trigger on this move on draft day. But with the amount of reserves, especially on defensive, Emery has to fill on the depth chart chart this off-season the extra 3rd round picks would come in handy for sure.

Unless there were a can't miss o-lineman available, i'd take this in a heartbeat.

I would ditto Henry on this one, and I'm not so sure I still wouldn't do it with a stud O-Lineman there. It would have to be someone like Fisher and maybe Warmack. A trade like this would give us 4 picks in the top 100 instead of just two. Where do we sign up?

To go with what you're saying, would anyone be worried about the talent available at 31 rather than 20 if we got 2 extra 3rds?

I'd pop on this deal but is your abacus right with the numbers Halpy?
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Could we angle this to 2 OL, TE, LB? We could cover everything. I dont see any needs beyond the big four as the most pressing issue.
If we go jacking off on some fucked up tangent of ST players then I dont want a part of it ... we been down that road. RESULTS : ZERO !

Yeah, here's the draft value of each pick. Here's the picks that each team have.
Crap, I had thought we had the 20th pick in the 2nd, it's the 18th instead. gotta redo that.

Now I wonder how many other teams have the same idea and what would we have to do to sweeten the pot?

I'm surprised this isn't getting more looks. I prolly should've put "Realistic way to get 2 3rd round picks" as the title.
