I'm surprised for a few reasons.
1. I'm a little surprised at the time it took the story to get posted on here. Sorry, gents, I'm just too lazy to post breaking news.
2. I'm also a bit surprised that it took this long for the Bears to make some sort of public move. I'm all for being cautious and evaluating whether you want to bring back your talent, but this seems to me like a long time. Perhaps this is an indicator that Halas Hall is not very impressed with their other options.
3. I guess I only had two reasons. Whoopsies.
I perdict he will be re-signed for a one or two year deal at between $3.5-4 Million per year with no guaranteed money.
