"But Peyton won the big game, so he can do that." ![4 2 204v[1]](http://www.dabears.com/images/smilies/Insults/4_2_204v[1].gif)
I hate that that statement is used so often. or at all.

2nd stop blaming the media for Cutlers problems; it's like Barry Bonds, you treat people like dirt, ecspecially the media and they are going to hound you. Don't act like a douche and they'll leave you alone, give them what they want and they'll protect you as much as they can. Cutler acts like a dick, so the media hounds him, he doesn't care about his
PR, his actions show that, then why should anyone else?
3rd, Cutler loved it when Martz first got here too, and that ended quickly and badly. He likes everything at first, but when things don't go the way he wants he gets moody quick. The point of this article was to say this new staff isn't going to take his BS; nor do they have to b/c he'll be gone well before they are if this doesn't work.
Peter King is trash reporting. I'm sorry, but there ARE "journalists" that just suck, and have name recognition (Mariotti, Thomas, anyone at the NYT)
Not blaming the media for Cutlers problems, but I hope you aren't denying this is what the media expects/wants from him.
You missed the point, as Cutler was the only one to welcome the new coaching regime, with no loyalty to worthless offensive schemes.

IF the O-Line is beefed up, and I don't mean corrected completely, but simply made into an "average" NFL line, this will all be a moot point. I don't care what QB you want to talk about, whether it's Cutler, Brady, Farve, Manning, NONE of these guys are miracle workers, none of them have a direct line to the Almighty. They need a system and a supporting staff that can help them succeed. I always love reporters saying "...this QB put the team on his back and carried them to...". BULLSHIT. Football is the ultimate team sport and while a QB can make a huge difference, there are 10 other guys on the field with him that have to at least do an adequate job for him to do well. During Cutlers tenure in Chicago, when has he had 10 other "adequate" players on the field with him?
I suggest that IF the O-Line is corrected, many Cutler doubters will be silenced next season. Whether or not the Defense continues to hold strong may determine if the Wins outnumber the Losses, but IF Cutler has adequate protection without having the offense in MAX protect mode all the time, his offense will do well and shut a lot of people up.
The Greatest form of revenge is MASSIVE success.

Yeah, a double standard manufactured by the "Talking Head" media trolls for sure.

PK is not trash reporting(at least not in my definition) that is what Bloggers are. Again you don't have to like what he says, but that doesn't make it trash. We'll just agree to disagree.
The media hasn't fabricated one issue from Cutler; it's all one Cutler alone. And they have, as of the last two years completely reversed the he's not tough enough crap that MJD started and has talked about how tough he is b/c of the hits he takes. Again Cutler is his own worst enemy, he doesn't act like a jag, he's not treated like one.
You missed the point that he did the same thing w/Martz. Just b/c it starts well w/Cutty doesn't mean it ends well. He wasn't happy at the end of RT's run and was excited about Martz, then it was FU martz. But w/all that he had the most influence...this time he won't

Just trying to lighten everyone up a bit. Geez Ric, you know me by now. I'm always trying to joke around a bit on the boards here. We all (me included) get too serious sometimes.
Besides, during the off season, it's the same stuff getting written about the Bears by the sports guys. A bit of levity never hurt anyone. And I dearly LOVE to poke fun at Webb.
