What if Cooper/Warmack are taken before Pick 20?
Folks,
I will prorably get sh!t for this post but I am going to go ahead and post it.
We all know we need O-Line help BAD! I really like Cooper/Warmach a lot but we need to consider the fact that there is a possibility that BOTH Womack and Cooper maybe gone by 20. What do we do then?
Possible Options
Option A Draft OT D.J. Fluker
Option B Try to find someone to trade down with and hope Barrett Jones have a good pro-day.
Option C Hope that Barrett's stock somehow recovers
Option D Draft Tyler Eifert or Zach Erts
Option E Draft OT Menelik Watson (Haven't heard of this guy)
Option F name your own.
One rule please don't say draft Te'O. Thank You!

I think we may not even draft them when they are available for us...
Fluker, Eifert or a surprise CB or a DT if Melton won't stay. Ask this question again in 2 weeks...
OL needs to get fixed via Free Agency and a scheme change with better coaching

Good question and as I have a bad feeling this will be the case
I'd want either a trade down or to take BOLA (fluker). It sucks but I have a feeling that coop and Warmack are going to be gone

I have yet to see a mock that has either of those guys going to us. And after the combine none have even Fluker there at 20; there there is a distinct possibility the team goes Effiert or drops back(imo).
And honestly I would perfer if they just drop back. It's a pretty deep draft.

Even if we sign a guy or two we still need to draft a few guys to build for the future.

Agreed especially since I am sure there are so many teams that would be willing to trade up in this draft. Hint San Francisco Hint.

The latest I've seen is that Cooper goes to Dallas at 18 and Warmack at 10 to Tennessee.
I would like to see us drop back to be honest.

JP I don't disagree, this team needs a ton of young talent all over the field, and if they can not get one of those "impact" OL'men in Warmack/Cooper/Fluker, then lets get a few more picks in the early rounds and move back later into the first.

yeah if that is case I would hope we net some picks, I heard on nfln this morn that there is a reported deal done but cant be offical yet sending Alex Smith to KC for thier 2nd and a conditional mid round next year
That means they HAVE to trade up to drop some picks because they have too many to sign.
Expect Frisco to move up somewhere some way.

they are also persuing Revis, which might be one of the things they do to remove some of those picks. It will be fun to watch what they do to get down to about 5-6 picks.
