A 1st, 7th and mid round pick for Harvin and Phil Emery gave up 2 3rd round picks for Brandon Marshall.
What a pimp.

I wonder what the price have been if he didn't have off-field issue. It was a risky deal that turned out as best as possible.

I don't know why but I feel like we are going to be very disappointed with the free agency period or at least under whelmed.
It just doesn't seem like we are positioning ourselves to he big players in the market.

Unless some cuts/restructures/extensions are announced in the next 24 hours or so, we aren't doing much of anything.

I believe that they are trying to put together some deals. If they can't put a few deals together I think they won't restructure too much and elect to keep the CAP the way it is rather than go co into future CAP debt. Best to make as much CAP go away this year if you can't use it to get the people you want.
I am not going to fault them for not restructuring. If they don't restructure, I view it as they couldn't put their deals together.

We don't have to be under the CAP until Sept 4th. So if Emery has things in the works he can still make a move without worrying about the CAP.

I don't think I'll be disappointed, because I'm not expecting much. I think if the right guy is there, then there is money that can be moved around, however, I do think our O-Line can be halped a great deal by a couple of 2nd tier guys and a solid draft. That's just how bad I think our O-Line is right now, that we can see improvement with second tier people.

Boldin traded to the 49ers for a 6th round pick

now that's pimp, on the 49rs. Sea trade for Harvin was laughably bad, B Marsh looked REALLY good until boldin went for a 6th.
