. I also like the fact him and BM are friends. That could be a real good thing for Bennett to be able to watch Marshall be a leader for the Bears.
Anyone else notice their intials are BM and MB?
Ah yes, more worthless drivel from CCMB`s resident homer, enough with Pop Warner crap, OK.

I don't understand why this is even a thread. The team does not have a lot of money. What they did with what they had was amazing. The goal really was to upgrades positions of need and not necessarily to go out and get some hall of famers in their prime. Davis was simply not effective. He dropped way too high a percentage. Anyone can say what they want about Bennett. Worst case he sucks. But guess what? He sucks less. Mission accomplished. Give the guy a chance, then decide how bad he sucks. He is going to be in a whole new O with all new people. It's possible he will be worse than he was in NY or it's possible he will be better.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind we upgraded the position. How much no one knows yet.

Well, I'll go out on a limb and say it was a huge upgrade. At first I was a little skeptical, but if he is working out with BM, BM's new attitude and his work ethic will rub off. While MB may also have somewhat soft hands, like BM, they are much better than KD ever dreamed of having. I think he'll be a beast.

Oh, I completely agree. I think it was a huge upgrade also. Just trying to say that even at worse case it's still an upgrade. I'm not sure why the reservations on this. I don't see any negatives. Not a pro-bowler, but I didn't expect one.

Not yet. If he can improve his game just a tad then we are having a potential pro-bowler TE. Let's cross fingers that him and Cutler will have instant chemistry.

Jeez hyatt, now that the "Official Site" has been shut down did you decide to just come over here to insult guys you don't like? You might want to give it a little more than a handful of posts before you start insulting the "homers".
Every board has a few so get used to it.

I have to say that if you think I'm a homer because I think it's a good thing they're friends, then count me in. While I don't know MB real well yet, he seems a lot like BM, just a little younger. With all BM has been through, and being a few years older, why yes, I think he can be a positive influence on MB. As far as the initials thingy, just being silly, kinda like the whole black unicorn stuff.

That hammer has to weigh a ton. That poor little thing having to balance it on her back...
Thank God she has just as big a weight on her front or she would tip over.
