Looks like we will be drafting a LB.

CB - plenty available. Best fit would be Winfield. Others would be Hayden and Munnerlyn
OG - Moore or Slauson (spell?) or keep Louis
LB - Keep Urlacher, if not Smith

We could use an OG but Emery has already said that he can't afford a starters cost for one and I take him at his word. The guy is very straightforward when he chooses to speak about his plans.

I take that to mean he won't be paying top dollar for top tier talent but if an older vet like Moore finds that the offers he's getting are far less than he expected you can't rule him or another like him out once the second phase signings start and that won't be for another few weeks.

He's also got Louis out there shopping himself around and before all is said and done Louis will have an idea of his market value and so will Emery and I think there's a good chance he brings him back if the cost is in line with what we can pay.

The next point of focus should be on working something out with Izzy and Urlacher and I still think those dollars need to come from redoing deals for our starting CBs, Peanut and Jennings. Both have deals that are very cap unfriendly and both can be and should be extended to shave of some cap cost.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Unfortunately they won`t accept monopoly money, which cap-wise is all we have to spend.

    .
Wouldn't Louis have to pass a Phys first, before the contract is good? Is he at that point in Rehab?
