Marshall is a hell of a leader on offense

I'm kinda wondering why the other Bennett isn't going with them, tho. Either way, it's amazing to realize how much of a lack of leadership there really was at this position, until Marshall got here.

That and dumping Drake have effectively resurrected the WR corps. I'm sure Emery will keep adding to that and that's a great positive for this team.

yeah. dumping Drake was some serious addition by subtraction.

To my knowledge, his entire cap hit, nearly $3m I believe, falls directly back to the bottom line if released (ie, no dead cap). I like EB and he's generally solid, but you gotta play more than 8-10 games a year and he's been injury prone. I wouldn't consider him a "lock" for the final roster come September. Not saying I'm in favor of this at this point but it wouldn't surprise me all that much if it happens.

They just extended him last year, and he's pretty good for a slot guy. I doubt he goes anywhere for a while.

Yeah, I agree with this. He'll be here. With Marshall, Jeffrey, EBennet and MBennett and the rest, we're pretty well set. Except maybe for a deep threat speedster. If we cut any WRs, it should be DH. And don't forget, some of EB's injuries weren't due to injury proneness. A helmet to the chest at full speed will cause injury to anybody.

Finally.
I can see the light and Jay can see his receivers because they aren't all midgets anymore.

This is the things you only could dream for when we aquired him. He was a troublemaker, but now he seems to be the leader of the offense as mention. He would like to work with AJ to learn him some tricks based on some of his tweets. The 2 3th round picks is nothing for what Marshall have turned out to be. Keep it up Marshall!
