If it weren't for the Seahawks, Packers, Falcons, and the 49ers being in the NFC, the Bears would be right there. So, yes that window in slammed shut. Sorry fellas.

I know about any given Sunday and all but unless and until the Bears prove that they can protect Cutler consistently, there will be no Super Bowls.

I am excited and more optimistic. The OL will being fixed, and that unleashes a powerfull offense. The future is bright now with this GM and knew HC.

All of those teams are young too. It will be tough in the NFC.

I would place the Seahawks, 49ers and Falcons as the odds on favorites right now. Anyone outside of those 3 to win it, would be a surprise team going into next year. Other than the Seahawks, I think the Bears could beat the Falcs and 49ers easily on a neutral site.

Absolutely. The 49ers and Seahawks look like they are going to be really good for a long time. However, they both had young inexperienced QBs who had pretty much everything go their way last year. Lots of QBs have looked like future HOFs after a season, but sometimes the league adjusts to them and they can't take the next step. The Packers are going to be right there at or near the top of the division every year. I am not concerned about the Falcons in the least. They are a paper tiger that's exposed every time the playoffs roll around.

The key thing is, we just have to make the playoffs. We don't have to finish with the best record in the NFC. The last three SB champs were seeded 6, 4 and 4. We just need to either 1) win the division, or 2) get a Wild Card. As "bad" and frustrating as we were last year, we still would have won the division if we could have beaten the Packers once, even if it was a fluke win. Get to the playoffs and anything can happen. I think we can all say definitively that the Ravens were NOT the best or most talented team last season, but that doesn't mean a damn thing because they won their last game. They didn't say "to hell with it" because they had to beat Manning and Brady on the road.

Let us say we get to the playoffs, imagine playing the Seahawks, Packers, Falcons, and the 49ers all one after another. Then, you have to beat a really good AFC team. You think Jay "I have Diabetes and I love to sulk during games" Cutler will take you to the Superbowl and win it? Cutler could not even beat the rookie Wilson at HOME. Imagine Cutler beating lord Rodgers? Can he even beat him? The Pack has our number for many years. Rodgers is far superior to Cutler in every way. Wilson will keep getting better. Kaepernick will get better. Matty Ice might get better. What about the old Eli? You think Cutler can beat him? Be realistic. Cutler would have to play lights out. The odds are against it. Our WRs other than Marshall cannot even get separation and Forte's wheels keep getting broke.

Well, you will not get a neutral site. So they will not beat them. Kaepernick could burn us just like AP did his rookie year and set a record for rushing.

You're a fucking idiot who knows nothing about the game and a troll to boot. You are not even worth debating with. Go find another Bears Forum with less "football smart" member than we have here. You're not DaBears material.

It's not even possible to have an intelligent debate with someone who posts childish crap like this; You think Jay "I have Diabetes and I love to sulk during games" Cutler will take you to the Superbowl and win it?

First you want to replace Bennett with a 32 "never really was a top WR type" and here your criticize your own QB in favor of just about every other one who comes into your small brain and a RB who's played through injuries at times, still played very productively, and missed all of five games in his career out of 80.

You're not a Bears fan. Not even an appropriately critical one because you criticize without the intelligence to even make reasonably workable suggestions for change. This stuff could have been written by a pouting twelve year old and made as much sense. I doubt you even follow the team because you sound far more like a Packer fan than a Bears fan and your sparse posting over four years kind of proves that.

You're a fucking troll and you need to move on and stop with the troll posts.
