Brandon Lloyd
The Pats might release him. When we had him, he played pretty good. He is better than Bennett.

No, he almost retired last time he was here.

Brandon Lloyd at the minimum. On third downs ... think Donald Driver.

Not really. He's a completely different type of receiver and after losing Welker it the Pats figured he had much to offer they'd probably have kept him. The only real issue with Bennett has been his injuries and in at least one instance you can hardly blame him. That hit to the chest he took against NOLA as brutal.
Bennett is one of the top 3rd down receivers in the league and he seldom drops a catchable ball. On top of that Cutler has a huge amount of trust in him. If Lloyd came here it would be as a deep threat and a #4 WR and we already have prospects who can cover that role and play STeams which Lloyd would not.

I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Nah, we already have Lloyd type WR's, we need a speed guy if we add another one to the mix. I think he still has something left to offer teams, just not the Bears.

Wasn't Lloyd traumatized the last time here was here? Like the other guy said, he was so miserable, he contemplated retirement lol
I'm BACK, Jack... or something..

I'm personally excited to see what Earl can do under Trestman. They guy's routes and hands are solid and he the way he fights for YAC rivals Marshall's. I'd love for him to be used as our "short area" guy in the slot rather than Hester. Now, if we had a speed guy to stretch the field beside him while he has space to move underneath, then I like him on the outside as well.

You sound like Lovie. It would be like you getting a hard on by a 1000 pound woman bending over in her skirt.

When I think of Bennett, I think of his dropped catch in the end zone in preseason when it was the 1s vs. 2s.
