Emery supposedly knows the "Patriot" way, even though he never worked for Bellicheat. If so, he may be able to acquire us picks once we start developing talent. I'm not draft guru at all, but NE seems to work FA extremely well and is creative on acquiring picks.

This changes everything. How much of the rest of the coaching staff is going or staying ?

The draft was semi predictable with Lovie around ... you knew it was going to be defense loaded.

Very true it's emerys call but the HC I think has an impact for sure

I'd say our first rounder depends on who's avail

T'eo or olgetree would be hard to pass on but if there's a stud OL avail it would also be tough to pass on as well

Or we can pull a 2012 and take an off the wall crap pick..

Nah he won't barring something crazy happening like getting hurt in the championship game or some crazy low combine numbers

Olgetree might tho and he would be just as good if not better IMO

i see a lot of talk about a FA LT... but those dont usually make it to FA if they are any good.. the only one i can really think of would be maybe jake long.. are there others that I am missing?

Lovie did his best, but it's not easy when you have some good players on the roster.
