RIPPED from another BEARS board :

    __________________________________________________ _________________

Emery's past with regards to drafting offensive linemen does't look particularly encouraging so here's my advice to him. If Lane Johnson is gone trade down 5 or 6 slots for a 3rd rounder. Then:

    1) draft either Cooper - OG or Tyler Eifert - TE

    2) Travis Frederick - OG/C

    3) Brian Schwenke - C

    4) Kevin Reddick - LB

    5) David Quessenberry - LT

    6) Mike Williams - TE if we go Cooper in the 1st

While your at it throw in Sebastian Vollmer via free agency. Line fixed!

I know GMPH will be happy. I'm however very worried that neither Cooper or Warmack will make it to the 20th pick. Eifert would solve our TE problems, but let's see what Emery can do of magic in FA. I would take Fluker over Eifert if Trestman and Kromer are damn sure they can convert him into an OG.

Not what I hoped to read about Emery...
    Oderint dum metuant.

One persons opinion from another board ... but it has possibilitys.

I like the going apeshit on OL and TE.

    LB with the fourth pick.

Some of the 2012 draft results :

Uhhh ... what were the 2012 draft results ?

    McClellin ... Jeffery ... Hardin ... E-Rod ?

    Lets not go there.

OTOH ... we have a new coaching staff.

I'm hoping the current coaching staff sees the talent from the last coaching staff.

God at least I hope so ... or were they all a bust in the current regimes eyes ?

Dont want to go thru that. The clocks ticking.

I'm hoping we see a polar opposite of the last draft in terms of OL

Clearly we will take one, but I'm thinking 2 min. One being a top pick 2nd worst case scenario

Was offline again but now back on so ... far.

Hey Grizz what do you think is coming up in F.A. ?

OL seem to have turned to gold when it comes to the class F.A.'s. Gonna take some coin to free one up that isnt gimped.

The following chart is used by NFL general managers and coaches when making trades on draft day.

If a team wants to move up from No. 3 to No. 1, it'll cost them 800 points. That means it'll have to trade its second- and third-round picks (550 + 255 = 805) to make the move.

Cornelius Washington DE/LB Georgia. 265 lbs. Projected more as a LB then DE.

The Georgia pro day is March 21st. This fucker truely intrigues me.
