One last attempt and, while most warnings/discussions should occur in private, we'll continue to do this in public so that everyone understands and doesn't make the same mistake. There is a difference between CIVILITY and VULGARITY. You can be snarky and sarcastic, like everybody else, without resorting to vulgarity outside of TBS. If you don't know the difference, I recommend you stop RIGHT NOW while you are still ahead. I can promise you that it won't remain that way for long.
There is absolutely NOTHING that prevents the staff from participating in the snark and sarcasm. I'm not sure where you ever got the idea otherwise.
The Terms of Service apply to everyone, including the staff, and nothing I did violates them unlike your initial response (vulgarity). Secondly, there was nothing UNCIVIL about what I posted, but you are quickly getting me to the point where that will change. The terms of service are crystal clear on this matter, and everyone is expected to know them prior to participating in these forums. There is no NEED for me to give you a warning, but you should definitely consider this conversation as one.
Lastly, you "call em like you see em"? You ain't seen nothing yet. You've gotten the "warning" you so strongly desire. There will not be another one. The smartest thing you can do right now would be to drop it and ensure that you refrain from using vulgarity, especially directed at
any other member of the board, again.
None of this should be construed as a threat. Your comment was unacceptable and I'm simply clarifying the issue. You can do as I advise above and all will be forgotten and probably never even thought about again. Or you can do otherwise, and simply accept the consequences.
