ok, we get it. you think the bears suck. Great. Most bear fans dont. give it a rest already. nothing wrong with having an oppinion. but we've heard it, and this is nothing new. your just beating a dead horse.
like that drunk guy that just want's to go on and on about how his wife left him.
we got it. your pissed. either make peace with the line up we got now, or go root for the packers. I'm just sick of hearing you complain.
1) Vasher sucked in the super bowl. His tackling was awful. He's always been overrated because he gets lucky on some picks.
2) Grossman used to be able to move in the pocket. Seems like he had an ankle injury the next season (broken ankle) and that did him in from a mobility standpoint.
3) The pass rush in the Super Bowl was lame.
When Grossman fumbled the snap in the 2nd quarter, it was deja vu. I laughed my ass off.
We used to be able to get a decent push on the oline and be able to run the ball some.
Don't normally agree w/Nerrad, but he's right on this one, we have gotten worse, while the Colts have maintained or gotten better, and for that matter the Saints have definately improved.
The Colts have improved, if nothing else, their depth. They lost their best wr's to retirement, and then lost his replacement, best safety, and another db, constant rb injuries, they replaced all of them and are in the SB. The Bears w/those kind of injury issues would be looking at a top 5 pick(which would be going to another damn team anyways).
JA said we were making moves by resigining our players, which would be fine if we had drafted worth a damn, but we didn't do that either, our starting talent is, at best equal to, and the depth is worse.
I didn't watch the replay, but I remember the fact they kept dropping Urlacher deep while Indy kept exposing the short middle that was left open by his vacancy... that was maddening to me during the game.
No doubt in my mind the Bears win that game if they bench Grossman at the half and put in Griese.
Not benching Grossman in the Super Bowl is still the single dumbest decision of Lovie Smith's career.
that is the single stupidest thing I've ever heard. there were LOTS of things that contributed. I'm sure Daniel Manning could take a fair share of the blame on that.
the ONLY play that made me go "WTF" was the last play desperation bomb to berrian which was open early, but the secondary closed REAL fast...
Griese played worse than orton in every game he ever played. So saying Griese would have won us that game is beyond silly... it's just freaking retarded.
