Strength of the team should be the starting rotation as well as team defense. Defense up the middle with Flowers, Alexei, Beckham, and DeAza is rock solid.
Minimal number of left handed bats and overall lack of offense needs to be addressed before opening day.

I think DeAza is up for trade with Wise being signed.
Wouldn't mind seeing another quality starter. Also how Konerko is going to be with that bone chip out of his wrist.

Da Sox are useless this year. If they get great pitching they can't score runs and if they score 5 or 6 runs then that pathetic bunch in the bullpen can't sew the game up. Nate Jones needs to GFT out of there. The guy is never consistent.
As for the position players; Paulie is getting very close to "hang it up time", Adam Dunn is a useless oversize turd of a hitter would be the the Sox worst acquisition yet if it wasn't for Keppinger giving him a run for his money.

Adam Dunn, the most recent in a very long line of Chicago strikeout kings, should have his over grown and over paid ass benched. I don't care how much money they're paying him a guy who hits 40 homers but can't even keep a .200 average is useless. I'd trade the motherfrocker and eat his damn contract if I had to. He costs the Sox too many games.
