Painful way to lose the series, but you could 'feel it" coming, each time they got the lead to 10-13 and then quickly Miami would shut it back to 5.. they just didn't have the Composure in the 4th AGAIN.. and while not lebron's biggest fan, he has a "clutch"( that for ya benj..lol) performer down the stretch again both "O" and "D". A great learning experience, that even jordan had to do against celtics and piston's early in his career, and rose will learn from this alos, imo and hopefully Management learns need that 2nd scorer and force for late playoff games.

Now I'm so conflicted, would hate to see Miami and lebron win it after all the drama of the Summer, and can't stand cuban's yapping and annoying mug, and like dan Synder, like have never won squat while thinking so smart--- so down to he lesser of 2 evils.. guess give Dirk his fist ring..

I actually liked Le Bron when he was a cavalier, but after the spectacle/hour special on signing with Miami and everything that came with it I can't stand him.... insanely gifted ball player, but I just don't see him the same way anymore. probably my least favorite player in the NBA.

Thats pretty much how everyone feels right now, alot of people have been and will be rooting against the Heat. And yes db, Cuban is a douche, but Dirk definitely deserves a ring, and i hope he gets it.

As far as the Bulls go...they have a very young talented team, but unfortunately are one offensive player away from being title contenders. Relying on Rose all season can work against crappy teams, but in the playoffs, we saw how easy it was for a team like the Heat too simply shut him down. Bulls still have an outstanding defense, but until they find a Scottie Pippen to Rose's Jordan, i dont think the Bulls will be able to win the championship. But, they do have some time because of the young age of their team, so thats a good thing for now.

Boozer has been the Biggest let down for me all post season.
Asik is my second Favorite Bench player next to Taj Gibson
your right Jimmors, we're just one big time offensive guy away from going all the way. this year's draft has been touted as pretty shallow, so unless we do something in Free Agency we're left to rely on the improvements/progression of our young team.

this is my first year following the bulls Religously since the Jordan Era so My oppions may not be the best out there. I'd really like to hear what other's here and the media will have to say going into next year about where we're going, and how we might get there.

Despite this heartbreaking blowout by the heat, Rose and Co. have made watching fun again. I can't wait till next season.

Oh Scottie Pippen, i just lost some respect for you:

"Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play the game. I may go so far as saying LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game," said Pippen, surprising even co-hosts Mike Greenberg and Chris Broussard.

LeBron James is NOT the greatest player to have played the game. Yeah, he might average a couple of extra rebounds and assists per game than Jordan, but his scoring totals do not match up against Jordan's for his career, period. Jordan averaged, what, 30-31 points per game in his career? James is a great scorer, but he's averaging only 27.7 points, 7.0 assists, and 7.1 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Michael Jordan put up 30.1 points, 5.3 assists, and 6.2 rebounds per game. LeBron's stats will only go down as he gets older, and he will NEVER match Jordan's PPG total, which is an NBA record.

If you want to get technical about it, if Pippen is basing all this shit on the fact that LeBron has a higher assist and rebound total than Jordan, then he needs to consider that there is at least one other player who is greater than James all time who AVERAGED a triple-double per game, and that's Oscar Robertson. Jordan is still the greatest player to ever play in the NBA, and I don't care who says otherwise.

Look. The Bulls always had a C to do most of their rebounding back in the day. Whether it was Luke Longley, Dennis Rodman, or Horace Grant, the Bulls always designated someone to do that job for them. Therefore, it wasn't necessary for the Bulls to have Jordan do that.

Where Jordan was far better, IMO, is on defense.

Since Noah is replaceable, the Bulls could have traded him for Carmelo Anthony. Just saying...

You would definitely know more about that than I do, JD. You probably realize that kids don't pay attention to the details that go into defensing the opposition, and I was a kid when Jordan played for the Bulls. I know that LeBron has played strong defense, but another area that Jordan was better in than James was free throw percentage. Jordan usually shot around 82-85% from the charity stripe, while LeBron James is, at best, a 75-78% foul shooter. Both players have/had the innate ability to carry his team singlehandedly on his back, but Jordan did that better than LeBron. LeBron is probably more equatable to Magic Johnson, with the exception that he doesn't average as many assists, but does more scoring than Magic.
