I didn't realize that Jerry Reinsdorf is considered cheap. I've only recently picked up watching them again for the first time since the Jordan years, and it seems to me that they were always willing to get the players to complete their teams back in the 1990s.

well we have a top three market and he refuses to go over luxury tax for one. Just look at how he dismantled the Jordan championship team a year early imo cause didnt want to pay Phil and others. He cares more about the White Sox then he does about the Bulls. Im glad he didnt buy the Coyotes it would have cut even more money from the other two teams
