As long as the Chuckleheads don't win the cup I'll be happy. This was pretty much a rebuilding year for the Hawks. They'll have some money to spend for next year and now know who stays and who gets the boot. I think we'll get a contender for the next few years in the most exciting sport ( In my opinion).
My best friend would disagree with you wholeheartedly. He's a huge Preds fan. We live only three hours east of Nashville in Knoxville, and I have been to a Blackhawks/Predators game at Bridgestone Arena (or what was once called Sommet Center). The Hawks lost 4-0. The game was on January 10, 2009. I remember it well because Dad was driving and just outside of the Davidson County (Metro Nashville) line, he got pulled over by a cop for failing to yield to emergency vehicle reentering the Interstate. It totally was bogus because Dad couldn't get over in time and didn't see the cop for another thing. That trip was hell. God, even my favorite hockey team couldn't pull it out.Quote:
