Hockey is so freaking boring to watch right now. Nashville has got to be the most boring team to watch period.

As long as the Chuckleheads don't win the cup I'll be happy. This was pretty much a rebuilding year for the Hawks. They'll have some money to spend for next year and now know who stays and who gets the boot. I think we'll get a contender for the next few years in the most exciting sport ( In my opinion).

My best friend would disagree with you wholeheartedly. He's a huge Preds fan. We live only three hours east of Nashville in Knoxville, and I have been to a Blackhawks/Predators game at Bridgestone Arena (or what was once called Sommet Center). The Hawks lost 4-0. The game was on January 10, 2009. I remember it well because Dad was driving and just outside of the Davidson County (Metro Nashville) line, he got pulled over by a cop for failing to yield to emergency vehicle reentering the Interstate. It totally was bogus because Dad couldn't get over in time and didn't see the cop for another thing. That trip was hell. God, even my favorite hockey team couldn't pull it out.

I'm looking to purchase a Bobby Hull autographed jersey. I think I found one on E-bay that I like. One was going for $110 because it had no COA. I refused to even consider buying it for that very reason despite the fact that the seller has pictures of the signing. The other jersey that does have a COA sticker on it is going for $140. I may see if Dad will split the cost for now and then let me pay him back later.

The Canucks were the better team yesterday yet we almost pulled it off. One good thing I can say about this team is they are young and we have a goalie of the future. If it were not for Cory Crawford we would not have made the playoffs. He was awesome last night and he carried this team. Some of the other young players we have matured during the playoffs and they will be even more exciting to see play next year.
Very tough loss but when you start three down and take the best the NHL has to offer to OT in a 7th game you know you gotta team. I'm damn proud to be a Hawks fan. Wait til next year isn't an empty promise of the West Side of town!!!! GO HAWKS!!
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

What are these talks in different media outlets of Patrick Kane being shopped around for a trade? Is there a grain of truth to that? The Hawks would be totally stupid to let him go.

And what have we learned about offseason rumors Dags? The Hawks are kaput for the year and Kane is bound to be a topic of conversation since he had an off year. Big deal, yawn.

I hate the idea that I'll be pulling for Detroit to win against San Jose.
