Well, the Hawks are about to get tested against a hot Colorado Avalanche team, I believe, next. Here's hoping that I have either NHL Center Ice or the Internet version of that on my Hulu Roku player so that I can watch some games this year.

I hate late games because is suffer at work for staying up late. Hawks win 5-2.
Hawks have out skated every opponent this year by far. The only two losses were due to outstanding goal tending. I am really like the look of this team so far.
I also hate west games, first you get to bed late then trying to fall asleep after watching hocking is another story.
The passing looks a hell of a lot better and we have been more physical this year to start out. I don't know what Towes problem is because he never starts out hot early in the year. lol The Rat( Dave Bolland) is also playing great. The changes we made this year are sure paying off.
I like Carbomb
The only bit of skating that I didn't like in the Phoenix game was the one where...shit, I can't remember who...but someone slipped and fell and Phoenix scored. There for a while, it was tight (first two periods), and then the Hawks opened up a can of whoop ass on them like it was nobody's business. If I'm correct, aren't the Hawks now 2nd in the Central Division standings and 5th in the Western Conference? (As if standings matter this early.)
Great win tonight! The Avalanche opened up moving really fast and setting the tempo, but as the game progressed, the Hawks evened up with them. Some display of goaltending by Crawford and Russian guy for Colorado. Carcillo played really well, and how about Hossa scoring a goal in his third consecutive game?
God I hate shootouts but at least we won this one.
Haven't had a chance to watch them so far but it sounds as though they've gotten a hell of a lot more physical without losing speed. Would that be a correct assumption?
