I remember Kane saying he was going to start taking things more serious or something like that. He's been outstanding this year also looks like he's been hitting the weights, not getting knocked off the puck this year nearly as much as before.

Let's hope Keith's injury is serious.

What a shitty goaltender Emery is. Damn. Giving up five goals and a hat trick to Steven Stamkos? Give me a break. Now I wish we still had Cristobal Huet to serve as a back up, only to Crawford instead of Antii Niemi.

Has anybody noticed that Corey Crawford has struggled defending the crease? Is it me, or is he really struggling? The first few weeks of the season, he never gave up more than two goals per game. Now, it's not unusual to see him give up three or four, or in the case of the Canuck bastards last week, I think he gave up five. Is it him or are the Hawks not asserting themselves enough in the defensive zone to really protect Crawford?

He has had some struggles but he has also stolen a few games this year. I think missing Duncan Keith for a short period hurt for a while. In the Columbus game they gave up a few garbage goals. The hawks power play needs to step up because we seem to get to fancy with passing the puck and at times the opposing goal tender seems to be standing on his head making great saves. I give this team until about the midway point before they really start beating teams. Right now they are feeling out the lines and getting use to playing with all the role players. I like the physical play of some of the new players and the gritty play of some of the veterans.
