    Like Zorro needing a scratch to wake him up, the Wild scored, the Hawks woke up and went in for the kill. 4 straight goals including 1 for Hossa on the night they honored him for his 1,000th game. No stopping this train....

    Just how good is this team? Im sure you guys will find this interesting:

    This website has a neat graph layout of team's points, basically showing points over a season, in graph form, compared to every other teams points.

    For example, this is from 2007, and you can see it pretty clustered:


    Here is 2008, you can see that lone Blue line up top, that is the point line for the Red Wings that year:


    2009, clustered up again:


    2010, the Blue Line up top is not the Hawks, but the Capitals:


    2011, Clustered to start, until the Canucks got hot at the end of the season (blue line):


    2012, completely clustered:



    All looks pretty boring, right? Nothing really spectacular, and im sure some of you are bored already. So here's what you've been waiting for, the graph for the 2013 season:



    See that blue line up top? Yep....thats the Blackhawks points over the year, compared to the rest of the league. So yeah, if anyone tries to tell you that what the Hawks are doing isnt all that special, refer them to this graph...you can see that not only is it historic, they are just far beyond EVERY OTHER TEAM in the league, as far as points go. It really is remarkable.

    I remember early in the football season when we were 7-1 or so JABF99 made a thread with something along these lines: It's a good time to stop and smell the roses. A great qoute really and I think it can be applied to the Hawks. Time to enjoy these days/week while they last. Hopefully Hawks will end the season better(namely with a Cup) than the Bears did. Enjoy it while you can folks!
