    Crawford with the shutout.
Kaner with a Stanley Cup winner look alike goal.
Hawks take 10 out of 12 point in a long road series.

The hawks looked real solid again in last nights game. I just hate playing the predators because they dumb the game down and it gets real boring at times. Lets hope the hawks have the same amount of luck at home as they have on the road.

So tonight we play the Sharks - and I still haven't forgotten what a 'tool' Super Joe was to some of our guys last year in their barn ( and some of the early 1st period garbage they pulled again last game ) , so ... now that we have them in our place for the 1st time this year , it'd be nice to see somebody run his a$$ a couple times ( and have Bollig give somebody a sore face also ) .

    They got it comin . However ... ( if it doesn't happen ) then a nice 5 goal W would suffice .

The best part is this team is slowly returning to the 2010 team.

I agree . When the 3rd 4th lines are playing this well , with confidence , and their added scoring - it's making the entire team difficult to match up with . Starting to 'feel' trickles of what that 2010 season felt like . Look out .

Rapid Reaction: Hawks 4, Sharks 1 - Chicago Blackhawks Blog - ESPN Chicago

Rapid Reaction: Hawks 4, Sharks 1

CHICAGO -- Here’s a quick look at the Chicago Blackhawks' 4-1 win over the San Jose Sharks at the United Center on Friday.

How it happened: The Blackhawks were too much for the Sharks at both ends of the ice Friday. The Blackhawks scored four times on Sharks goaltender Antti Niemi, who entered the game with a 1.74 goals-against average. Dave Bolland, Marcus Kruger, Andrew Shaw and Niklas Hjalmarsson scored for the Blackhawks. In the second period, the Blackhawks scored twice and outshot the Sharks 17-8. Hawks goaltender Ray Emery allowed just one goal on 28 shots and improved to 4-0-0 on the season. Tim Kennedy scored the Sharks’ lone goal.

Player of the game: Kruger scored a goal, dished off an assist on Hjalmarsson’s goal and played a key part in the team’s penalty kill again. He helped the Blackhawks kill off 3:24 of a consecutive Sharks power play in the second period.

What it means: The Blackhawks have yet to not register a point in a game this season. They improved to 11-0-3 with an NHL-leading 25 points with Friday’s victory. The Blackhawks’ power-play goal in the second period had to be a pleasant sight for coach Joel Quenneville. They went into Friday’s game with three power-play goals in their previous 29 opportunities. For the Sharks, Friday’s defeat extended their losing streak to seven games. They have scored three goals in their past four games.

What’s next: The Blackhawks continue their seven-game homestand with the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. The Blackhawks have five games remaining on the homestand.

A lot of people were questioning the move to let Niemi go and hang on to Hammer but the year it looks like it was the right move. The two Swedes are playing well together on D along with Leddy. They're getting as many minutes as Keith and Seabrook which will be huge later in the season.

This Crawford injury concerns me. Let's hope it's nothing too bad.
