Honestly, it doesnt really matter what you or I think about it, the NFL is going to do what they want to do irregardless. So either it will stay in the US, and nothing changes, or it doesnt, and you guys will have to deal with that i guess. Either way...im ok with it.
I'm trying//to let go//of maybe//but maybe's just so//very interesting//Oh, what a thing.

Well....NO! Do you think what people will remember most about the Giants upset win in SB XLII was that it was played in AZ? Doubtful.
Alright. Let's watch Super Bowl 50 in London. Kickoff at 12:00 am CET (7:00 pm ET). Absolutely no one would go there or even watch it. So why can't the Super Bowl stay in America? Do you really think Europeans are gonna watch a sport they barely know (and understand) + not go to bed and go to work the next morning? No way.

OH NOEZ its going to be held in another country....thats Un-American booo!!
You know what? Yes, it's Un-American. Let's keep it here. It's one of the few American things we have left.

With a few exceptions, the conference title games are more exciting.
The mayors of NFL cities, that have never hosted one, better get their shit together and head this off.

This isn't feasable, there would be too much outrage here in the states if the NFL did plant a SB over seas.
10-7-07 Bears 27,Fudge Packers 20...12-23-07 Bears 35,Fudge Packers 7 Then Favre quit and became a Jet...

I think the superbowl should be played by the team that has home field advantage like all other professional sports.

No way. I am froom the UK originally. Played football for 20 years there. The popularity is so low. People will turn up for the event but it will not grow the sport. The '80's were great due to football being on free to air tv (hence a large number of Dolphins 49ers and Bears fans) but now :(. A franschise may work but to take sopmething as big as a superbowl would be sacrilege and a waste.

NO WAY HOSEA! Sorry fans of NFL London!

Part of me wouldn't care that it's in London. It's not like too many real NFL fans will be deprived of an opportunity to go. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he majority of the patrons are corporate sponsors and media anyhow.
Then the other part of me wants it to stay in the US because well, it's the NFL, it's a league in the US.

You'll find a lot of hard core NFL fans in the UK don't want a franchise in London or a SB. I know I dont.
If I want to go to a SB I want to go to experience in the US not in the shithole capital that is London.
Also holding one game a year there is fine, but I think the NFL would struggle with a team. It would be far too expensive as you have to factor in travel and accommodation. A lot of fans travel to Wembley - like Flea does.
People are not going to do that 8 times a season.
