Denver is set for the future because of this trade. We have a 22 year old QB, 23 y/o RB, our #1 #2 and #3 WR's are all under 24, and every projected starter on the offensive line is under the age of 27. Every position on offense is now locked for the future and we have a BUNCH of young guys on defense who are just biding their time behind very good veteran players.
just cause they're young doesn't mean they'll be worth a shit

First, Denver didn't get all of those players with the picks that we traded them. The fact that they then took those picks and parlayed them into other picks is "nice" for Denver, but isn't a product of a deal with Chicago. So, article fail.
Second, Kyle Orton's jock still has your lipstick stains all over them, and you are already discounting him from the lofty accolades you were heaping on him last season. We told you, and were completely right btw, that he is serviceable. Nothing more, nothing less. You just admitted that he isn't good enough to lead your team. Having Orton as an interim starting QB hardly makes a strong case for his value in the trade.
Last, McDufus gets zero credit for being anything more than another failed Belicheck assistant until he does anything to improve your team's record. He gets another shot at doing that, but I don't expect him to get results for an entire season. His overhaul has successfully jetisoned the most effective players the Donks have had in the last 5 years and brought in a bunch of maybes (injury, NFL ability, etc.). To me, he has taken you backwards, not forward. I bet Shanny and the pitiful Redskins have a better record at year end.

You do realize that the offense that McDaniels runs was designed (not by McDaniels despite your homerish beliefs) with the intention create a potent passing game without relying on an all-world caliber QB, right? That's why it's loaded with short passes, high percentage passes and relies on YAC for yardage. Which makes the trade of Brandon Marshall even dumber. I can think of at least two games you would not have won without Marshall.

see this is what you dont get. None of these players have done squat as of right now for you to say they are set for the future. As of right now they are POTENTIALLY set for the future.
for example all the Bears WR are under 24 so does that mean they are set for the future? Hell no they are potentially set for the future. There is still a high probability of failure like all young skill position players.
to top it off if your new #1 wr is just average of what Marshal is then the whole experiment is a failure

Believe it or not Brandon Marshall didn't have 100 receiving yards in any of our wins last year.
He is going to be tough to replace because he is a phenomenal receiver, but the Broncos were never going to give him big money. Denver has went to 6 Super Bowls without a receiver as talented as Marshall though so that alone proves that having a top 5 WR doesn't guarantee you a SB Trophy.

Didn't the Bears trade for a franchise QB but instead got the NFL INT leader for two first round draft picks, a starting QB, and a 3rd round pick OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH.
